A total of five people have died of suspected measles in the last 24 hours across the country.
This information shared given in a press release sent from the control room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday.
It said that the number of suspected measles patients in the last 24 hours is 826 and the number of suspected measles patients from March 15 to May 28 is 67,905. The number of confirmed measles patients in the last 24 hours is 51, and the number of confirmed measles patients from March 15 to May 28 is 8,885.
From March 15 to May 28, a total of 54,182 people were admitted to hospitals with suspected measles. At the same time, 50,926 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
Five people have died of suspected measles in the last 24 hours and a total of 477 people have died of suspected measles from March 15 to May 28. There have been no confirmed deaths from measles in the last 24 hours, and 88 people have died from confirmed measles from March 15 to May 28.
