Bangladesh Bonnyo Prani Seba Foundation has rescued a total of 658 wild animals of rare species from localities in different areas of Sreemangal and Kamalganj, reports BSS.
The foundation rescued those animals during the last twelve years and returned those animals to the forest.
The authorities of the Foundation said it rescued and returned 658 animals since 2012. And in the past two years it saved total 75 animals including pythons, monkeys, shy monkeys, fish cats, leopard cats,wild cats, various types of birds, snakes and Gandha Gokuls.
Swapan Deb Sajal, Director of the foundation said animals have always used the deserted forest as their safe haven, but natural biodiversity is being severely destroyed, resulting in a lack of food for forest animals. Sometimes animals come to localities in search of food and safe shelter and thus this puts the lives of these animals at risk.
Located in Srimangal, Bangladesh Bonnyo Prani Seba Foundation works to serve endangered and threatened wild animals.
