The authorities have transferred a total of 20 senior officers of the Bangladesh Police, including four Inspector General-ranked officials, in an effort to bring greater dynamism to the police administration.
Additionally, 16 officials equivalent to the rank of Superintendent of Police have been transferred to new areas to ensure the success of the effort.
The Public Security Division, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, issued the notification on Tuesday in light of the order of President Mohammed Shahabuddin.
The transferred police officials have been assigned to various units across the country, including metropolitan areas, range DIG offices, in-service training centres, the PBI, DMP, industrial police and RRF units.
