Light rain or drizzle is expected in the northern regions of the country over the next five days, starting from 9 am on Saturday,reports UNB.
According to a regular bulletin of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) “A mild cold wave is sweeping over Panchagarh and it may continue.”
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Moderate to dense fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue at places till noon.
Besides, air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt temporarily due to dense fog.
The night temperature may increase slightly, while the day temperature could rise by 1-2°C across the country.
Meanwhile, night and day temperatures may fall till Thursday.
Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area.
The seasonal low is located over the South Bay, with its trough extending to the Northeast Bay.
