Four workers were killed in an explosion while working on a gas line in Bahubal upazila of Habiganj. Two others were injured in the incident.
The fatalities were confirmed by Zahidul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bahubal Police Station.
The deceased were Mizan Gazi, Mahfuz Mia, Riaz Mia, and one other, all of them were from Chandpur district.
The incident occurred around 9:00 am on Tuesday in the Dubaoi area of Putijuri Union, Bahubal Upazila, at a construction site of an industrial project under Akij Venture Limited.
