The lowest temperature in the country was recorded in the northern district of Naogaon. On Sunday morning, the lowest temperature was recorded at 10.6 degrees Celsius.
Mizanur Rahman, an officer at the Badalgachi Agricultural Weather Observatory in Naogaon provided this information.
He hinted that the winter temperature may increase in the future due to the cold wind blowing from the north.
Meanwhile, people's lives have been disrupted by the intensity of the cold. The bitter cold and northern winds have burdened the people in this region. Fieldwork is also being affected. Even though the sun is shining, the cold continues without any relief.
Due to the fog, long-distance vehicles are running with headlights on until late morning. The most affected are the low-income, working-class people. As the cold intensifies, a lack of work is also arising, leaving them in a tough situation.
