The High Court has suspended the decision of issuing appointment letters to 6,531 candidates in the 3rd phase of recruitment in the post of assistant teacher of primary schools.
The HC has passed the order as their recruitment was done following the quota system.
The High Court bench of Justice Fatema Najib and Justice Mahmudur Razi passed the order on Tuesday.
The final results of the third phase of the government primary school assistant teacher recruitment examination (for Dhaka and Chattogram divisions) were published on October 31, in which a total of 6,531 candidates came out successfully.
This information was given in a press release from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Tuesday evening.
In the third phase, examination held in 21 districts of Dhaka and Chattogram divisions. The revised results of the written examination were published on April 22. In this, 46,199 candidates were selected for the oral examination. The examination was held at the district level from 10 am to 11 am on March 29.
