The Election Commission (EC) has directed officials to upload new voter data to the server within three days of capturing fingerprints, photographs, and completing the registration process.
Mohammad Ariful Islam, System Analyst Engineer at the EC's NID branch, issued an instruction to field officers on Tuesday.
As per the instruction, following the decision made in the October 2 meeting, voter data must be uploaded to the NID system's central server within three days of capturing the new voter's biometric information.
The upazila election officer can view the date when a voter's biometric was taken and when it was uploaded to the central server through the card management system, with all activities logged in the system; actions should be carried out accordingly.
