Four people were killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles near the toll plaza of the Padma Bridge South police station in Zajira, Shariatpur, late on Sunday, reports Dhaka Tribune.
The deceased were identified as Arman, 18, Khidir, 20, Nabil, 17, and Sayem, 20.
Police said that two of the four victims died on the spot. The other two were seriously injured and taken to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The officer-in-charge of Padma Bridge South police station said no complaints had been filed by the families of the deceased yet.
