Students have staged a demonstration surrounding the High Court, demanding the resignation of judges they accuse of being "collaborators of fascism". The protest took place today, Wednesday, around 11:45 AM when the students surrounded the High Court.

Earlier, starting from 10:30 AM, students of Dhaka University and other nearby educational institutions gathered at the Raju Memorial Sculpture of Dhaka University. The call for the High Court siege was given on Tuesday night through a Facebook post by two coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Sarzis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah.
On Tuesday, pro-Awami League lawyers staged a protest march on the premises of the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court, where they chanted pro-Awamileague slogans.
It was reported that 20-25 lawyers participated in this protest, and one person was detained by the Kotwali police during the demonstration.
In response to this protest, Sarzis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah called for the High Court siege.
