A delegation led by Dhaka Metropolitan Intelligence Police (DB) Chief Additional Commissioner Harun-Or-Rashid is going to visit Nepal to investigate the murder case of Member of Parliament (MP) in Jhenaidah-4 constituency Anwarul Azim Anar.
On Saturday (June 1) morning, a team of four including one from DB Police and NCB (National Central Bureau) left for Nepal.
At Shahjalal International Airport terminal-2 gate at around 10 am, DB Chief Harun-Or-Rashid told the media, “We heard that Siam, the assistant of Shaheen, the mastermind behind the assassination of MP Anwarul Azim Anar, had been arrested in Nepal. Besides, there is a possibility that other accused may also go to Nepal after the murder. Considering all the situation, we've decided to go there.”
He also said that important information has been found in the interrogation of the arrested accused by the DB and that information will be crosschecked.
