The government will not protect anyone as the law will take its own course, said Salman F Rahman, over the corruption of former Chief of Army Staff Aziz Ahmed and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed.
Salman F Rahman, Private Industry and Investment Affairs advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this while talking to reporters at the secretariat in Dhaka on Wednesday.
“I don’t believe that the government would feel embarrassment at Aziz and Benazir issues,” he responded to a journalist.
Echoing the voice of Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Rahman said, “No matter how influential the wrongdoers are, the law will take its own course.”
