"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places," said a met office release on Friday.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the release added.
Trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 39.2 degree Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum temperature 20.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Sylhet.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6 am Friday was recorded 78 millimeters (mm) at Sylhet.
Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi division and the districts of Tangail, Kushtia, Chuadanga and Rangamati and it may continue.
