Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, “The heroism and sacrifice of martyr Abu Sayed of the July uprising has deeply inspired me. That is why I consider myself a son of Rangpur."
He said this while welcoming the family members of martyr Abu Sayed at his office in Tejgaon of the capital on Thursday.
‘Consider me as the advisor of Rangpur,’ he said.
The chief advisor handed over the certificate of Shaheed Abu Sayed Foundation to the family members of Abu Sayed.
Shaheed Abu Sayed’s father Mokbul Hossain received the certificate. Abu Sayeed’s nephew Md. Liton Mia was also present there.
The chief advisor asked about the physical condition of Abu Sayed’s parents and assured them of all kinds of support from the government.
