No money was robbed from Sonali Bank’s Ruma branch and the money in the bank’s vault remained untouched, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) said on Wednesday, a day after the branch was attacked by armed robbers.

Later, they also counted all money kept in the vault and found those remained untouched, he said.
The vault requires the simultaneous use of two keys to open it. The armed men probably couldn't access the vault due to their failure in this regard, said the CID official.
