The holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in the country on June 29.
The National Moon Sighting Committee announced the decision after the sighting of the new crescent in the country, marking the beginning of the month of Zilhajj this evening (Monday).
Earlier, the National Moon Sighting Committee held a meeting at the Islamic Foundation conference room at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka in the evening to determine the appearance of the moon during the holy month of Zilhajj.
