Awami League (AL) on Friday nominated Mohammad Ali Arafat (Muhammad A. Arafat) for the by-election in Dhaka-17 constituency, reports UNB.

On May 15, legendary actor and elected parliamentary member from Dhaka-17 constituency Akbar Hossain Pathan, popularly known as Farooque, passed away.
