BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury on Thursday asked the party to prepare the list of ‘overenthusiastic’ members of the police force.
He also directed the leaders and activists of the party to prepare another list of Awami League ‘cadres’ who are attacking BNP leaders and activists during their programmes.
Amir Khasru Mahmud made the call while addressing at a press conference at BNP’s Chattogram office on Thursday.
BNP vice chairman Mir Mohammad Nasir Uddin, senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, chairperson’s adviser Joynal Abedin, organizing secretary Mahbubur Rahman and Chattogram city unit BNP convener Dr Shahdat Hossain and member secretary Abul Hashem also spoke at the press conference.
Khosru expressed gratitude to the leaders and activists of their party and people for making Wednesday’s rally a grand success by braving all the obstacles, attacks and repressive acts at Polo ground in the port city.
He also alleged that the ‘cadres’ of Awami and Jubo League attacked BNP men on their way to BNP’s rally on Wednesday.
