Famous actor Mosharraf Karim has made his debut as a playback singer in Fazlul Kabir Tuhin's film "Bildakini."
The song, "Bhalo Bhalo Lage Na," was written and composed by Mosharraf himself, The Daily Star reported.
Along with providing his voice, the actor also performs the song on-screen in the film. The track was recently launched under the G-Series banner.
The film "Bildakini," based on Nuruddin Jahangir's novel and centered on women's empowerment and motherhood, stars Mosharraf Karim and Parno Mittra. Although it was scheduled for release on January 24, the director is rethinking the date due to the political climate, with a final decision to be made by January 21.
Director Fazlul Kabir Tuhin explained the background of the collaboration, saying, "Mosharraf bhai had written the song 'Bhalo Bhalo Lage Na' a long time ago. We used to sing it together casually during our hangouts. For a specific prison scene in the film, I thought this song would be a perfect match. When I suggested the idea to Mosharraf bhai, he asked who would sing it. I told him it would be best if he sang it. He agreed, and we recorded the track."
