The results of the MBBS admission test for the 2024-25 academic session at public and private medical colleges were released on Sunday, with a pass rate of 45.62%, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Out of 131,760 applicants, 60,095 candidates passed the exam, which required a minimum score of 40 to qualify. A health ministry statement highlighted that girls outperformed boys in the test. Of the successful candidates, 37,936 (63.13%) were girls, while 22,159 (36.87%) were boys. The top score in the exam was 90.75.

Candidates can access their results online through the Directorate General of Medical Education’s official website. Additionally, successful applicants will receive their results via SMS on the mobile numbers provided during registration.
