At least 20 people including women sustained injuries in the bite of wild dogs in Jhenaidah sadar upazila from Friday to Saturday.
Locals said a crazy dog has randomly bitten people in different areas including Arafpur Masterpara, Ukilpara under the upazila from Friday night to Saturday morning.
Later, locals chased it out of the area after the news of the bite was spread.
Besides, another wild dog also bites some pedestrians in the Halidhani area of the upazila in the morning.
One of the victims Rahima Khatun said a crazy dog in red suddenly bit her while she was walking on the road.
Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital’s Residential Medical Officer Dr Tapos Kumar said some dog bite patients were admitted and some left the hospital after receiving primary treatment.
