The motion poster of the Ador Azad-starrer film “Tagor” has been unveiled. Directed by Aalok Hassan, the film will go on the floor on Tuesday outside Dhaka.
The film was initially announced at the start of this year, with a teaser featuring Ador Azad and Prarthana Fardin Dighi. However, following the release of the motion poster, it was revealed that Dighi had been replaced. Actress Puja Chery will now star alongside Ador in the film.
Regarding the shooting and casting new heroine, director Aalok Hasan said, “We had to change the lead female actress for several reasons. However, I do not want to say anything more about this. It is fortunate for us to have Puja on the board. Now I want to finish the work quickly.”
Ador Azad said, “I have been involved with this project for the last four months. In the middle, I only shot the film “Picnic”. Finally, the shooting of “Tagor” is going to start. The entire production unit is very optimistic about the project.”
“I have worked with Aalok Hasan and Ador Azad before. Due to the different casting in the announcement teaser, I did not want to do the film “Tagor”. However, later the team was able to convince me that I also liked the story, so I agreed. The story also got a different dimension in the script doctoring and reading sessions,” Puja said.
Produced and presented by AR Movie Network, the story and screenplay of the movie are written by AR Team. The dialogues are written by Mamunur Rashid Tanim. The film also stars Azad Abul Kalam, Rosey Siddiqui, Suman Anwar, LR Khan Simanto, Shariful and others.
“Tagor” is likely to be released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, according to the production company.
