Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) President Anwar-Ul-Alam Chowdhury (Parvez) said that the government has not been able to ensure safety and security to the businessmen.
He made these remarks at a seminar titled “Policy Consideration for Affordability and Impact on Industrial Competitiveness” jointly organized by ERF and Policy Exchange on Sunday.
“So far, the interim government has not been able to provide safety and security to the businessmen,” he said, adding: “If this situation continues, new factories will not be built here.”
He asked the government that if the existing factories faces crisis then why industrialist set up new factories?
He furthered: “You also have to think about whether to run the factory or exit now.”
