Escort facility for safe money transportation launched in Dhaka

Escort facility for safe money transportation launched in Dhaka

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will provide escort services to ensure the safe transportation of large amount of money during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr. 

"If any person, bank, or financial institution feels that they need police assistance to transfer a large amount of money, we will provide them with escort services," said DMP Assistant Commissioner (AC-media) Jahangir Kabir.

The DMP advised people to contact the relevant police station, the police control room, or the National Emergency Number 999 to receive the services.
