Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has started a meeting virtually with the leaders of tea garden workers to resolve impasse in the sector over wage hike.
Sylhet, Moulvibazar and Habiganj district administration has taken separate programme in this regards.
Earlier, on August 27, she held meeting with owners of teagardens at her official residence Ganabhaban in this regard.
A number of 13 owners of the teagardens participated in the meeting which ended in hike in pay.
Some workers returned to job while other groups are still maintaining work abstention to press home their expected wages and demands.
