The government has taken the decision for a two-day weekly holiday in all educational institutions in the country.
The decision came from the weekly Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday.
The Ministry of Education will now issue a circular in this regard, said Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam while briefing reporters after the meeting at the Secretariat.
Earlier in February, Education Minister Dipu Moni at a function said the government will introduce a two-day weekly holiday in all educational institutions in the country from the next year.
