Indian Coast Guard rescued 17 more Bangladeshi fishermen from the Bay of Bengal Sunday after rescuing 10 fishermen Saturday amid inclement weather.
In three operations, the ICG has rescued total 27 Bangladeshi fishermen so far in its continuous effort to provide assistance at rough sea condition.
Battling extreme weather, ICG ship Anmol rescued the fishermen 12 nautical miles from India's international maritime boundary with Bangladesh in an operation.
The search for missing Bangladeshi fishermen is in progress, the ICG tweeted.
