Country sees one Covid death, 226 new cases

Bangladesh on Sunday reported one Covid-19 death in the last 24 hours while it recorded 226 new coronavirus-positive cases during the period, reports UNB.

According to the latest statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Country's total fatalities reached 29,313, the new number took its caseload to 2,008,870

The daily case test positivity rate rose to 4.32 per cent from Saturday's 4.29 per cent as 5,226 samples were tested.

The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.46 percent. The recovery rate rose to 97.14 from Saturday's 97.12 per cent.
