Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has reaffirmed that all of Palestine, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, rightfully belongs to the Palestinian people, reports IRNA.
“All of Palestine, from the river to the sea, belongs to the Palestinian people,” read a statement shared on social media by the Leader’s official website, KHAMENEI.IR.
The message was posted in multiple languages on Thursday, two days after former U.S. President Donald Trump announced a controversial plan to relocate Palestinians from Gaza.
Speaking alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, Trump declared that the United States would “take over” and “own” the Gaza Strip after removing Palestinians from the besieged territory. The proposal was met with widespread condemnation globally.
