The Lebanese military has accused Israeli forces of breaching a ceasefire agreement that has established a fragile truce with Hezbollah, now entering its third day.
Medical sources in Gaza have reported that intensified Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip have killed at least 42 people, as bombing escalates and tanks push deeper into northern and southern areas of the territory.
The United Nations has issued another warning that “famine is imminent” in Gaza, where over two million residents remain trapped with scarce food supplies and no access to safe drinking water.
The ongoing conflict in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 44,330 Palestinians and injuries to 104,933 since October 7, 2023, according to reports. On the same day, Hamas-led attacks in Israel killed at least 1,139 people and saw over 200 individuals taken captive.
Meanwhile in Lebanon, Israeli attacks since the onset of the war on Gaza have killed at least 3,961 people and injured 16,520, according to reports.
