6 killed as truck hits auto-rickshaw in Narsingdi

A truck ran over a CNG auto-rickshaw in Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi on Saturday, killing six people, including the driver and passengers. The identities of the victims have yet to be confirmed.

The accident occurred near Shibpur Pacharbari on the Manohardi-Shivpur regional road around 12 noon. The incident was confirmed by Md. Afzal Hossain, the Officer-in-Charge of Shibpur Model Police Station.

At the time this report was being prepared, the Fire Service team was working to recover the victims' bodies and remove the CNG and truck involved in the accident.
