Dhaka city dwellers saw drizzles on Thursday morning, providing some brief relief from the scorching heat that has been sweeping across the country for several days, reports UNB.
The day started with a cloudy sky, and city dwellers witnessed drizzles on their way to work in the morning at Jatrabari, Tejgaon, Mogbazar Iskaton, Farmgate, and Kawranbazar.
However, the drizzles caused gridlock on several major streets in Dhaka, and city dwellers were stuck on the road during rush hour.
According to the Met Office bulletin, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places in Chattogram division and at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions.
