The day temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius and the night temperature may remain nearly unchanged in the next 24 hours across the country, said the weather department on Saturday.
According to the latest weather bulletin of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at isolated places over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius in Tarash and Syedpur and the minimum temperature was 23.5 degrees Celsius in Rangamati.
The met office said the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours (Till 6 am Saturday) was recorded at 18mm in Sylhet.
The sun sets at 6:22 pm today (Saturday) and rises at 5:39 am tomorrow (Sunday) in Dhaka.
