DMP arrest 58 from anti-narcotics operations

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 58 people after conducting anti-narcotics operations in different areas of the capital on Sunday.

At the time of the arrest, the defendants had in their possession 257 pieces of yaba, 56.5 gram Heroin, 56 kg 150 grams of marijuana, 10 intoxicated injections, 480 cans of imported alcohol and 20 litres of local alcohol.

The successful campaign started from Sunday morning to Monday morning in different police stations.

The defendants will be charged related to the Drug Control legislatures on 40 counts.
