Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain confident and determined ahead of the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
He said: “The team [Bangladesh] is heading into the tournament with the goal of becoming champions.”
Speaking at a press conference followed by a team photo-shoot on Wednesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Najmul emphasized the team's belief in their potential to reach the top.
"We are going with the mindset of becoming champions. Everyone in the team truly believes that we can achieve our goal," Najmul asserted.
Emphasizing Bangladesh's balanced team composition, Shanto expressed confidence in their ability to compete against any side.
"We are well-balanced now, with a strong pace attack and quality wrist spin. We can beat any team on our day," he said.
Discussing the challenges of the tournament, Shanto expects high-scoring games in Pakistan with 300+ totals, while Dubai could see scores around 260-280.
"We will analyze and set our targets accordingly," he added.
