India, going beyond anyone’s expectation, won the Asia Cup trophy defeating Sri Lanka by an incredible margin of 10 wickets.
Batting first, Sri Lanka were bowled out for just 50 runs in this final match of Asia Cup Cricket held in Colombo on Sunday.
Mohammed Siraj took 6 wickets just for 21 runs and Hardik Pandiya took 3 wickets just for 3, which triggered the destruction of Lankan batting line up.
Lankans were able to play just 15.2 overs. This 50 runs is their lowest total in Asia Cup.
On the other hand, without facing any trouble, Indian openers Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan achieved the win for India by the biggest possible margin.
Earlier, winning the toss, Sri Lanka opted to bat first.
