Mentioning that the ousted Awami League government is hatching conspiracy with its local and foreign masters, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman said conspiracies will increase if elections are delayed.
Only election is the solution to all problems. Election, election, and election. There is no alternative to election. That’s why the election is needed as soon as possible,” he said.
Tarique Rahman made the remarks while addressing the council of Chuadanga district BNP through the virtual platform on Saturday afternoon.
Tarique said that reformation is a continuous process. Elected public representatives are needed to make the reformations of the interim government sustainable. Elected public representatives will work in parliament to fulfil the people's expectations.
Warning the party leaders and activists, he said, BNP’s fighting is not still over. All leaders and activists will have to be united to cross the tough days during the election.
Suggesting the BNP men to do more responsible behaviours, he said, “Our behaviours will be as per the expectations of the people.”
Tarique Rahman also said every institution of a country becomes weak when the politics of that country becomes weak. The previous fascist government destroyed all the institutions in the country. Eligible public representatives must be elected through votes to revive these institutions.
“BNP’s only goal is to change the fate of the people of the country. We intend to move forward the country,” he continued.
