Captain Tamim Iqbal scored 19 runs from 30 balls while Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim scored 0 runs respectively.
Opening batter Anamul Haque scored 46 from 41 balls and new batter Mahmudullah are on the crease.
Zimbabwean bowler Brad Evans bagged two wickets from four overs.
Earlier, host Zimbabwe chose to field against Bangladesh with a mission of whitewashing the visitors.
