Bangladesh get to 290/9 after being put in to bat in the second ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare.
Fifties from captain Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah helped to get the total.
Tigers failed to to defend 303 in the first ODI of the series. Today Bangladesh had a quicker start by Tamim who hit ten fours and a six in his 45-ball knock. He was the dominant partner in a quickfire 71-run opening stand with Anamul Haque.
However, the innings wobbled in between 10 balls when both batters got out. Tamim fell soon after getting to his fifty. Anamul fell into a run out.
After that, the innings was steadied with a brisk 50-run stand between Najmul Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahim. But both failed to kick on after getting to starts.
The innings was once again prevented from tailing off by 81-run stand off 84 balls between Mahmudullah and Afif Hossain for the fifth wicket.
