The government has appointed 10 members of the Bangladesh Judicial Service as Chief Legal Aid Officers in 10 districts, reports BSS.
The appointments were made in consultation with the Bangladesh Supreme Court, according to a gazette notification issued by the Law and Justice Division.
The newly appointed officers, all of the rank of Joint District and Sessions Judge, are: Monika Khan (Cumilla), Ahmed Humayun Kabir (Faridpur), Md. Mustafizur Rahman (Satkhira), Laila Meher Banu (Moulvibazar), Mst. Shabnam Mustari (Rangpur), Farjana Hasanat (Mymensingh), Nazmun Nahar (Noakhali), ASM Emran (Rangamati), Ayesha Begum (Sylhet), and Solaiman Kabir (Sunamganj).
