The Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman paid tribute to BNP founder and former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam at his grave in Zia Udyan of the capital on the occasion of his 45th martyrdom anniversary.
The party's central leaders, other leaders and activists from various levels, led by Tarique Rahman, laid wreaths at the grave of the martyred President and performed ziarat at 11 am on Saturday.
After paying tribute and ziarat, the Prime Minister will participate in a food and clothing distribution program among the needy people in the area adjacent to the T&T playground on Manik Mia Avenue in the capital.
