This year's Hajj flights from Bangladesh have been concluded. All registered pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia.
On Friday, the daily bulletin of the IT Helpdesk on the Hajj portal of the Ministry of Religion said that so far 79,164 Bangladeshi pilgrims, including management members, have reached Saudi Arabia on Hajj flights.
The Hajj bulletin said that this time, a total of 4,464 pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia through government channels and 73,926 through private channels in 201 flights.
After the Hajj, the return flights will start on May 30. The operations of return flights will end on June 30.
On the other hand, so far 24 Bangladeshi pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia. Of the deceased pilgrims, 17 were men and 7 were women, 15 died in Mecca and 9 in Medina. Finally, on May 22, Mohammad Nazrul Islam, 61, from Rangunia of Chattogram, died.
