Due to the increase in the outbreak of measles-related pneumonia among children in the country, all types of leaves for doctors, officials and employees of all health institutions under the Directorate General of Health Services have been cancelled to deal with the emergency situation.
This information was shared in an office order signed by the director (administration) of the Directorate General of Health Services, professor Dr. Jalal Uddin Mohammad Rumi on Tuesday.
The order said that in order to ensure uninterrupted medical services during the emergency and to strengthen vaccination activities to prevent measles, the earned leave and casual leave of those working in all institutions under the Directorate General of Health Services have been suspended or cancelled.
It also said that this directive, issued with the approval of the appropriate authorities, will come into effect immediately.
