The government has decided to keep all CNG filling stations across the country open round-the-clock for 13 days to ensure smooth movement of passengers and vehicles during Eid-ul-Azha.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division sent a letter to the chairman of Petrobangla on May 13, asking him to take necessary measures in this regard.
According to the letter, CNG filling stations will remain open 24 hours a day for a total of 13 days to ensure an uninterrupted fuel supply and smooth traffic movement on highways during Eid-ul-Azha.
The decision will remain effective from May 21 to June 2, seven days before Eid, Eid day and five days after Eid.
Meanwhile, the government has fixed public holidays for Eid-ul-Azha from May 25 to May 31, allowing government employees to enjoy a consecutive seven-day vacation.
