Newly appointed ICT prosecutor Silvia’s appointment revoked

The authority has revoked Afroza Parvin Silvia's appointment as a prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued an office order on Thursday (March 27) cancelling the appointment of the ICT prosecutor, which will come into effect immediately.

Earlier, on the same day, a notification signed by Sana Md. Mahroof Hossain, the Deputy Solicitor of the Ministry of Law and Justice, appointed Afroza Parvin and three others as prosecutors of the tribunal.
