BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “We have to be vigilant and careful because BNP is the only party that has stood up to every danger and adversity of the country. It has always rescued Bangladesh from all crises.”
He said this at a discussion meeting organized at the Institution of Engineers (IEB) on Tuesday afternoon. BNP organized this discussion meeting on the occasion of Independence Day.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “We can never allow those who protect our country, stand by us in times of crisis, to be controversial.”
He said, “We have to go to democracy through elections. That is democracy. We do not know that there is any other system other than democracy that can benefit the people.”
