The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has organized a ministerial-level meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, regarding Israeli occupation against the Palestinians.
Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain will leave Dhaka on 6 March for Saudi Arabia to attend the meeting.
A Foreign Ministry official said, "Our position has always been in favor of Palestine. Regardless of who is in power in Bangladesh, the country has consistently stood by Palestine. The interim government is also providing continuous support to Palestine."
The adviser is expected to present some proposals on behalf of Bangladesh.
Following the OIC ministerial meeting, Touhid Hossain is expected to return to the country on 8 March.
