A mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping across several parts of the country, with some areas expected to see relief, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said today, according to a BSS report.
According to a BMD bulletin issued at 9 am, the heat wave is affecting Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Khulna divisions, as well as Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Barishal, and Patuakhali districts. Some areas may see a slight reduction in intensity.
The weather is expected to remain dry, with a partly cloudy sky.
Jashore recorded the highest temperature on Saturday at 39.4 degrees Celsius, while Rajshahi saw the lowest at 16.8 degrees Celsius today.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:14 pm and rise at 5:52 am tomorrow.
