Shyamoli Sultana Jadni, the organizer of Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad, has resigned a day after the commencement of the organization. She announced this information by posting on social media Facebook at 11:56 pm on Thursday.
In the Facebook post, she said, "I have willingly and consciously resigned from the post of 'organizer' of the central committee of Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad."
However, she conveyed her best wishes to the newly formed organization. In the Facebook post, she said, "I wish the best for Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad. This platform will end 54 years of ugly student politics, this is my hope! You should establish a healthy student politics, end nepotism and move towards setting a unique example. Become aware of prioritizing competent leadership and giving dignity to people, and talk about human rights."
Earlier, on Thursday afternoon, Rifat Rashid, the senior joint member secretary of Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad, also resigned. He has already submitted his resignation.
