Rain likely over parts of country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country and having chances of light rain over Rangpur division for the next 24 hours. 

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain/thunder showers is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur division," the Met office said.

Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.

Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The BMD recorded country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 32.5 degrees Celsius jointly at Bandarban, Sitakunda and Teknaf, while the minimum temperature today was recorded 14.6 degrees Celsius at Sreemangal.

 

The sunsets today at 06:01 pm and rises tomorrow at 06:21 am in the capital.
